Abstract

Ecotourism as a part of the tourism industry is sensitive to environmental changes. Climate change and especially global warming can cause prosperity or stagnation. Reducing the consequences of future heat waves depends on identifying the mechanism of heat waves, and the meteorological systems that create them, predicting and providing ways to reduce the harmful effects of heat waves on public health, and tourism, and identifying vulnerable areas. It is related to heat waves. The present study was conducted to analyze heat waves and their effects on the ecotourism attractions of Khuzestan province. A descriptive-analytical method has been used in this study. Using the maximum temperature data in four stations located in the main geographical directions of Khuzestan province, for the statistical period of 1987 to 2020 and categorized using the 90th percentile index, the days with heat waves lasting 3 days or more were extracted. Charts of hot months were prepared and Arc GIS software was used for temperature zoning and map drawing. From the analysis of charts and maps, this result was obtained. Despite the existence of existing wetlands (Shimbar, Bamdej, Tembi) in the vicinity of these 4 stations, high temperature poses a significant threat to the water quality and quantity of the wetlands and their plant and animal life such as turtles. It's a frat. In addition, there has been a decrease in breeding and reproduction of the emperor salamander in Dezful station, an increase in fires in the Tembi forest areas of Masjid Sulaiman station, and a general decrease in biodiversity and the length and quality of tourist seasons. In terms of spatial distribution in the northwest and south coasts of Khuzestan province, the frequency and intensity of heat waves have been higher. According to the results of this research, the frequency of heat waves has been increasing in the statistical period, and in recent years, in addition, the frequency, intensity, and spatial expansion of its occurrence have increased.

Abstract

The aim of the current research was to investigate the mediating role of green human resource management in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and the performance of the hotel industry. Therefore, in terms of the purpose of this research, except for applied research, and in terms of gathering findings, it was carried out with the correlation method based on structural equations. The statistical population of this research included employees and managers of the hotel industry in Tehran in 1402. A number of 320 people were selected as the research sample based on the table of Karajesi and Morgan by random sampling method. The research findings were collected using Carroll's (1979) social responsibility questionnaires, Sabz Zaid et al.'s (2018) human resource management questionnaire, and Hersey and Goldsmith's (1980) organizational performance questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaires was calculated using confirmatory factor analysis and their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha test. Research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, structural equation modeling and Sobel test in SPSS and SmartPLS software. The findings of the research showed that the effect of the variable of corporate social responsibility on the performance of the hotel industry (F=0.61), the effect of the variable of social responsibility on green human resource management (F=0.454) and the effect of green human resource management on performance (F=0.288) ) is positive and significant. In addition, the Sobel statistic showed that the indirect effect of social responsibility on performance through green human resource management is equal (β=0.301). Therefore, it shows that these effects are positive. According to the findings of this research, it is suggested that the hotel industry should always emphasize its environmental and social responsibility in order to improve organizational performance.

Abstract

In the realm of tourism, service offices play a pivotal role, significantly shaping market dynamics and enhancing the competitiveness of tourist destinations. However, their organizational cooperation and collaboration have been underexplored in previous studies. To address this gap, our research focuses on analyzing the cooperation network among tourism service offices in Rasht city, considering their field of work and types of licenses. Data from 40 offices were collected through questionnaires and interviews, forming the basis for a cooperation matrix. Leveraging social network analysis techniques, we found that experienced offices (with licenses A, B, and P) exhibit less inclination toward collaboration, while younger offices (holding licenses A and B, or B and P) actively engage and aspire to become reference points for joint efforts. Notably, offices with licenses B and B and P express a strong interest in expanding their participation. Our recommendations emphasize utilizing high in-degree centrality offices for effective network management and actively involving younger offices with high betweenness centrality to enhance overall network coherence and coordination.

Abstract

Iran is the only Islamic country in which all religious principles are observed and, based on the constitution and system of the Islamic Republic, as well as the Islamic culture and customs governing the public space of the country, it is committed to observing Islamic principles, laws, and regulations. With this approach, the present article has tried to consider halal tourism in ecotourism resorts with an emphasis on Iranian-Islamic hospitality, and the mental gap of the present article is the beginning of a way to answer the question of under what conditions and with what mechanisms has halal tourism in Iran become problematic despite its rich potential? In this regard, with a focus on the applicability of the research objective within the framework of the "deductive strategy" and provided to 384 people as a non-probability and purposeful sampling. Data analysis was also carried out using statistical software (SPSS) and correlation matrix analysis and Kruskal-Wallis. The results of the research showed that the tourism process quality index with a coefficient of (t = 16.601) and the infrastructure resources index (t = 15.868) obtained the highest score among the research indicators and can be considered as a key infrastructure for halal tourism. In contrast, the intelligence and demand for halal tourism in Iran were negative and it has not been able to gain its place in halal tourism. Deepening and facilitating awareness of tourists and paying attention to the beliefs and emotions of tourists are the two main drivers in infrastructure resources that should be planned by futurists of halal tourism, because the future has just as much impact on the present as the past.

Abstract

Optimal use of suitable locations for the development and revival of food tourism should be considered in urban tourism planning. Given the tourist potential of the city of Tabriz, there is a need to locate traditional restaurants. Given the lack of some factors, including the lack of proximity to quality restaurants, the lack of proximity of restaurants to historical, recreational, and tourist sites, the lack of proximity to shopping centers, and the lack of proximity to roads and public transportation networks, there is a need to pay attention to identifying and evaluating suitable locations for establishing restaurants in urban tourism planning. The present study aims to evaluate the optimal locations of traditional restaurants in attracting tourists to the city of Tabriz, and seeks to answer the question of which urban locations have better conditions for establishing traditional restaurants. To achieve this goal, quantitative models, ranking indicators and criteria, and utilizing the opinions of local experts and knowledgeable people were used. Then, using the Prometheus, AHP, and SAW models, the desired options were ranked and the most optimal location for establishing a traditional restaurant was determined. Statistical calculations were also performed in the EXPERT CHOIC, EXCEL, and VISUAL PROMETHEE software. Considering the criteria considered in this study, the economic criterion of ranking The first and the proximity criterion ranked second. Based on these criteria, the restaurants under study, which are 21 traditional restaurants in Tabriz, were prioritized in order. Based on the analyses conducted, El Goli Restaurant in the Prometheus technique and Qurani Restaurant based on the saw technique ranked first. The results of the studies also showed that in evaluating the optimal locations of traditional restaurants in Tabriz, the most important criterion that ranked first was related to the places susceptible to construction with a weight of 0.114 (which was one of the economic sub-criteria) and the tourist density criterion was one of the social sub-criteria and ranked 8th with a weight of 0.063.

Abstract

Nowadays, due to the explosive increase in the population of cities around the world, urban planners are looking for new solutions to overcome these problems, and one of the new concepts for reducing the problems of cities in the field of urban planning is the development of creative tourism, which has received much attention in the past few years. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to analyze the spatial relationship between creative tourism indicators and the vitality of cities in the neighborhoods of Arak city. The required data and information were collected by two methods: library and survey methods, and after analysis in EXCEL software, they were entered into GIS software and spatially analyzed using multivariate regression in the form of the GWR model. The statistical sample of the study was 384 citizens of Arak city. The results of the study showed that the status of creative tourism indicators is in an unfavorable condition and the peripheral neighborhoods of the city are in a weaker condition. Also, the vitality indicators in Arak city are not in a favorable condition, so that most neighborhoods have an average score lower than 3. Also, the results of the spatial analysis of the GWR model showed: Based on the R2 statistic, the relationship between the independent variable (creative tourism) and the dependent variable (urban vitality) in two indicators, comfort and convenience, safety and security, is 72% and 63%, respectively, and creative tourism indicators can have a high impact on the vitality of Arak city neighborhoods, especially in the eastern, southern and southwestern regions of the city. Also, the R2 statistic showed that the impact of creative tourism indicators on the dimensions, attractiveness and visual diversity, and the quality of attractiveness and visual diversity of the neighborhood vitality variable of Arak city is in an almost average position of 53%.

Abstract

Tourism has numerous capabilities and constraints, and the ratio of the two provides completely different options. For this reason, investing and paying attention to each of them will yield completely different results. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the position of these factors for investment priorities. To this end, determining the main drivers is of great importance. This study attempted to study the main drivers of Bakharz County in Khorasan Razavi Province using a descriptive and analytical method. The required data was collected through qualitative interviews with 30 tourism experts. The sampling method was convenience sampling. The collected data was analyzed through interaction analysis using Scenario Wizard software. According to the results, out of 45 main drivers, the 10 drivers that have the greatest impact on the future of tourism in Bakharz County are: Orientation towards health tourism, soft infrastructure, advertising on virtual platforms, relevant human resources, diverse accommodation facilities, compliance with tourism considerations, facilitating residence and longevity, insurance, and promoting greenery and freshness. In order to determine possible scenarios, ScenarioWizard software was used. The analyses conducted in this regard revealed that four possible scenarios can be presented in this regard. Among these scenarios, the most favorable conditions were only achievable in two scenarios. Two other scenarios were presented as intermediate and somewhat favorable. The last scenario was also a crisis situation, meaning that if the current stagnant situation continues, even the current small interest will disappear.
