Abstract:   (303 Views)
The aim of the current research was to investigate the mediating role of green human resource management in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and the performance of the hotel industry. Therefore, in terms of the purpose of this research, except for applied research, and in terms of gathering findings, it was carried out with the correlation method based on structural equations. The statistical population of this research included employees and managers of the hotel industry in Tehran in 1402. A number of 320 people were selected as the research sample based on the table of Karajesi and Morgan by random sampling method. The research findings were collected using Carroll's (1979) social responsibility questionnaires, Sabz Zaid et al.'s (2018) human resource management questionnaire, and Hersey and Goldsmith's (1980) organizational performance questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaires was calculated using confirmatory factor analysis and their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha test. Research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, structural equation modeling and Sobel test in SPSS and SmartPLS software. The findings of the research showed that the effect of the variable of corporate social responsibility on the performance of the hotel industry (F=0.61), the effect of the variable of social responsibility on green human resource management (F=0.454) and the effect of green human resource management on performance (F=0.288) ) is positive and significant. In addition, the Sobel statistic showed that the indirect effect of social responsibility on performance through green human resource management is equal (β=0.301). Therefore, it shows that these effects are positive. According to the findings of this research, it is suggested that the hotel industry should always emphasize its environmental and social responsibility in order to improve organizational performance.
